ACCREDITATION

Medicare and many of the commercial payors are requiring that providers become accredited with standards based societies if they will be performing procedures such as advanced imaging.  These  include some common in-office procedures, for example, Vascular, Echocardiogram, Nuclear stress and other tests.  Your practice may need to be accredited in order to be paid.

Accreditation is a complex, labor intensive, process that many practices don't have the knowledge or resources to handle.
